49th Annual International Herpesvirus Workshop

Our team participated in the 49th Annual International Herpesvirus Workshop held in Berlin, Germany from July 26–30, 2025. The conference brought together leading researchers in the field of herpesvirus biology to share the latest findings and foster scientific exchange.

Two posters were presented by our PhD students:

• Tejasv Gupta – Novel localization of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) immediate early 1 (IE1) protein

• Mikołaj Piotrkowski – Replication of Bovine Herpesvirus-1 (BHV-1) in human glioblastoma cells

Participation in this international meeting provided an excellent opportunity to present our recent research, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations within the herpesvirus research community.
